Bipolar & Mood Disorders

I work with adults living with bipolar I, bipolar II, cyclothymia, schizophrenia, and depression with psychotic features. I have a special interest in emerging bipolar disorder, especially when it was first misdiagnosed as ADHD or OCD, or when ADHD and bipolar disorder occur together. We’ll look at how your mood cycles affect your work, relationships, and daily life. We’ll build tools to track and manage symptoms and strengthen your collaboration with your psychiatric prescriber. Finding the right medication can take time, and I’ll help you stay hopeful through that process.

I’m especially interested in working with adults who are showing emerging symptoms of bipolar disorder or are new to the diagnosis and want guidance on healthy habits and routines, mood tracking, coordination with their psychiatric medication prescriber, and, when weekly therapy isn’t enough on its own, a referral to a higher level of care.
